As the Skipper for the Tampa Bay Mariners Club, Inc., it is my pleasure to welcome you to the club’s website. We were chartered on April 02, 1973. We are a non-profit professional organization that supports and contributes to other local non-profit organizations in the marine and maritime or related fields.

We provide continuing education and legislative information to our members pertaining to marine insurance and maritime industries. We promote friendly association with networking and emphasize maintaining a high standard of ethical and sound business practices, by building long lasting relationships between our members and other allied fields.

We have regular monthly lunch meetings with guest speaker participation from many related industries and fields that are of interest to our members.

We hold an annual educational and networking seminar which is open to all interested persons with speakers in the areas of Law, Insurance, Weather, Surveying and other related fields. We have been successful in working with the Department of Insurance in the state of Florida and the Florida Bar Association in obtaining approved continuing education credits for licensed resident and non-resident Florida agents and adjusters, along with maritime attorneys. In addition, both the National Association of Marine Surveyors (NAMS)® and the Society of Marine Surveyors (SAMS)® recognize our annual seminar for continuing education credits for their members as well.

Membership is extended to all persons associated with or in support of the Marine Insurance and Maritime industries and related fields. Please join us at our next meeting and see for yourself what we have to offer you and your organization.

Regards,

Alycia N. McGlone, CMIP
